No, I'm not enjoying Vegas right now. My fiance on the other hand is. I am stuck in northwest Arkansas scrubbing afterbirth off of newborn babies...PTL for Johnson & Johnson. Here is a quick rundown on my week thus far on my nursery rotation: I've been peed on, helped to remove the extra finger on both hands of a baby, allowed my finger to double as a pacifier during a circumcision, watch Jill almost pass out while observing a birth, and melt at the sound of a little D.I.V.A. in the making purring while I washed her hair. Die. (I died, not the baby). My cousin, Lincoln, had the best idea...she keeps track of her husband's med school rotation preferences on her blog. Idea officially stolen. Maybe this will give me motivation to actually use my degree when I graduate...
Unfinished business: Karl is in Vegas for the next two weeks "working." Just kidding, he really is working hard! I'm so proud of his work ethic and how he chooses to serve the grand ol' US of A but hopefully he'll get to play some in the next couple of weeks, while I happen to be marooned in the fishbowl of the hospital rubbing iodine on slimy umbilical cords and making sure that each baby doesn't have "ambiguous" gender.
New business: I had the best week with Lincoln in Little Rock and then with both Lincoln and John once we got up here on Friday!! Needless to say, two Davis' are always better than one. I'll add pictures later but Lincoln and I had so much fun planning the florals for the wedding! Also, Absolutely pining over the new Levi's Capital E "Vintage" Napa Leather Bomber Jacket, black please. Feel free to send me one. I'm trying to be friends with the owner of Bloomingdale's or something.

Old business that never gets old: MY NEW 2010 PLANNER!!!! I'm dying over this. Seriously. OK, if you know me at all, you know that I live for list making, planning my life, and just writing things down in general. Fact: I am a control freak. Therefore, I love to plan my life. Side note/fact: God also loves blowing my plans up, I'm sure it's oh so funny. OK, spent way too much money on this planner BUT, Lincoln had a good point, 2010 is going to be a big year for me! So worth the $$.$$ that I spent. Go ahead and drool, just don't drip on my metallic amethyst MyAgenda

I love that it's called "mom agenda" haha
